Daytona Beach may seem such a busy place but it is also a perfect destination to just sit back and relax. You can get yourself a vacation home with a spectacular view of the beach that is astoundingly 500 feet wide during low tide which you can enjoy at any time of the year.
The beaches here allow cars to be driven along the hard-packed sand that stretches for 18 miles and you can do this during daytime but there are designated areas for this. You don’t really have to worry about safety because the cars here have a limit of 10mph and not all areas allow vehicles into the shore. For those of you interested in this just be aware that there is a $5 charge per vehicle during the months of February until Labor Day and this is unlimited re-entry for that entire day. But on the rest of the months, there is no charge.
